Welcome to the Middlesbrough Advice Partnership website.

MAP brings together partners from the statutory, voluntary and community sectors and our aim is to develop a coordinated approach in order to promote and develop advice provision in Middlesbrough.

The partnership provides free, independant and confidential advice and each partner specialises in various elements of advice. We are committed to working in a partnership and this will enable more successful referrals and a greater working relationship.
 Please note, this website is not yet complete but there is still plenty of useful information that you can access.

 Our Objectives
  • To facilitate open communication, information sharing, training and operational support amongst member organisations;
  • To create a forum to translate the strategic direction from the Financial Inclusion Group into operational service delivery and to feedback progress and issues;
  • To discuss issues around supply and demand for advice services and to work together to identify preventative measures, innovative solutions and to improve access to advice;
  • To discuss opportunites for partnership working, including access to funding;
  • To act with common purpose to address local, regional and national issues affecting clients and/or the advice sector.
